I don't think violent video games like these are really the cause of children to be violent. Violent video games may have some effect on how people behave but I doubt that this effect is very big. If an average student played a violent video game like this, I doubt he would have a feeling to all of a sudden kill someone or go fight someone. I used to play shooting games like Halo and Counter Strike but that was more for fun and something I did in my free time, but when I used to play these games I didn't think about getting a gun and shooting someone or anything violent like that. I think the violence mainly comes from the type of home someone grows up in, like if they have abusive parents or something. Also, its likely that abusive parents don't care what their kids do, so the kids may be playing a lot of killing games which is why people might make the connection of violent video games causes violence.
