equal rights topic

I remember back sophomore year, I think, when some black girls put a lock in a sock and whipped it around at each other as a weapon. If I'm not mistaken, I think a couple of those girls got expelled, or at least suspended for the rest of the year...
But then last year some white guy took a baseball bat out of his trunk and beat some kid with it. And his punishment was like, suspension for a couple days, maybe a week at the most. I don't know if those are the correct facts, that's just the information that I was informed on. But if my knowledge on that is correct, then that's proof that equal rights don't exist. There are plenty of other reasons that prove that equal rights don't 100% exist, but that's one that I've noticed.
