So... the death penalty. I have to say there are not many times on this board so far that I have agreed with Keith, but now is one of them. I am absolutely in all circumstances opposed to the death penalty. I see the arguments that people have made, some have been thoughtful and insightful, and some of been radical and in direct violation of the very foundation of the Bill of Rights. I believe in forgiveness and more importantly I do not believe that I am anyone to sit in judgement over another person's life.
Anyway, if anyone wants to discuss something else you could continue our discussion of American values... do you agree with what we discussed in class? Do you think Americans need to reevaluate and change their values? Explain yourself!
