Is Perception Reality?
I agree with Janny, Hollywood did exaggerate the roles of teens in high school in the movie just a little bit. Like when the girl makes a map of the lunch room, the different types of groups mentioned weren't completely relevant. Even though when you walk in the lunch room and you know who is going to sit where most of the time, it isn't always the same. I think that people stereotype others to quickly, that's why I love this movie and the Breakfast Club. It shows that your perception of people isn't always right the first time. I understand that it is human nature to judge by appearance only when you first meet someone, but that doesn't give anyone the right to have a false opinion about them. Has anyone else been stereotyped?
