Janelle's Response- Death Penalty

I don't think the death penalty is very necessary. I think that if somebody commits murder they should be left to suffer in jail. I think that giving somebody the death penalty is worthless, because the people who are getting sentenced to the death penalty are obviously crazy and probably would rather just get killed than live in a high security prison for the rest of their lives. I think the death penalty should only be allowed if somebody kills a large number of people and are potentially extremely dangerous to the society. Other than that i think that murderers should be left to suffer in a high security prison in the middle of nowhere.
