In response to Bailey and Shannon, I completely agree with the fact that our gun laws are way to lax in this country. It is so easy for anyone wrong person to get a weapon in their hand like guns, knives, bombs…anything….and most of the stuff we sell on the street to convicts is better then what our own law enforcement has to protect ourselves with, which makes it an unfair advantage during attacks. This country is CRAZY!! It is not just our gun laws that are a problem, but basically every law we hold. Our country is just too….too free. It seems as if there are no restrictions or consequences preventing us from doing whatever we want to ourselves and each other. We need to buckle down and put some real order back into society! If you look at the Countries where there are fewer crimes, you’ll see it is because of how strict their laws are AND unlike us, they actually follow through with what they say they are going to do as punishment and not just slap the bad guys on the wrist. One of my favorite rules which I wish was in America, is the one that states, “An eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth”, which mean whatever crime you commit should be the punishment back to you. Yeah, that’s why they have few murders cause who wants to kill someone brutally and then die in the same fashion!? Ummm no one, so let’s enforce that here and maybe it might scare some people enough. I know we have capital punishment and all but we’re so lame about it, most people spend their entire lives waiting to die on death row the actually dieing like they are suppose to. Ehh this country bothers me sometimes….I think I want to move to Canada.
