The Nitti Beat's Post
Social Stattus, now a days, is determined by the car you drive and how much money you have. Apparently, at Fremd, this is a bigger deal than it should be. Like I said in class I drive an 1986 Pickup that I worked for and paid for my self. Knowing that not all students can say that gives me a feeling of accomlishment that they will not feel for years to come. I don't know how some of the students in our class are, but for me I also have to pay for my own gas, insurrance, plates, city sticker, etc. Paying for these things suck big time, but by working for them it teaches me certain responseabilities that will be needed to live life and be succesfull at it. Also, I don't understand why parrents buy these cars for their kids, because they wiil probably wind up wrecking them because they are new drivers.
