School shootings are a very unfortunate event and I am not quite sure what sparks them. There are always some kids that most would consider "odd" and they seem to be the kids that are always invovled in a shooting. The previous two points are obvious ones, but what sparks a school schooting? The best thing to do would be to talk to the one who commited it, dig deep into their mind and find out what is going on in their head. However, many times this is impossible because they end up killing themselves after killing others. I never really understood why someone would do that. Maybe they find killing themselves as the easy way out, they will serve no punishment to themselves but do they realize the punishment that they are inflicting upon others? To me it seems selfish. When someone kills themselves all they are considering is themselves. What about their parents, what about the people who care for them?
Schools need to become more invovled with what goes on with students. They are invovled in the sense of drugs, sex, and fights, but they need to be more concerned about what is going through the minds of their students. Schools need to put aside time to have meetings or some kind of group where everyone is invovled. No matter the diversity of the student everyone should feel accepted.
