I find it very confusing that people weigh their success or "coolness" with other peoples scales. Just because someone has a fast car, big home, or expensive clothes, that does not make them any better than you. In fact, that can make you a little better than them, CAN make you, key word is CAN. People spend all of their life sleeping and wishing they had something else. Instead of spending half of your life sleeping, why don't you do something? Do you think the people doing research on cancer care about Hollister shirts? I don't know maybe they do, but that's not the point. I'm not sure where I was going with this but all I know is that if we weigh ourselves on other peoples scales, we will never measure up to who we can really become. Do not look at something and say man I wish i had that but I don't, so I'm a loser. Instead if you really want that work for it because you want it, not because it will make you looke"cool". At the end of the day when you sit alone with your thoughts, does it bother you you are not as "cool" as everyone else, or are you happy because you know where you stand? Reflection is the greatest gift we have right now, and if the world spent more time to reflect and ask where we are, where we have been, and where we are going, then we would be a lot better off. So try it some time.
REFLECT!
