First off -- GO CANADA!! I love Canada!!

Second-- When it comes to capital punishment, sometimes it's necessary and sometimes it isn't. The whole idea is both fitting yet demoralizing because it bring up the whole "Eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" thing. For some crimes, like a serial killer, or rapist, yes, they should be put to death. In our society, those are the most horrendous of crimes, but for other things, like petty theft, of course we won't put them to death because they tried to steal an old lady's lamp. I think that, for some cases, we should be aloud to invoke capital punishment but even if someone murdered someone else, it should be a subjective type of judgement, on the court's part, at least.
