With the article that we read in class, i really do'nt think that the surgery should have been preformed. there were extremely high chances that niether would end up surviving and the doctors knew for a fact that at least one would die which means, they would have had to pick which one would live. however with the case of the 8 limbed baby, it's hard to sit here and say that the surgery shouldn't have been preformed beucase she ended up surviving which surprised a lot of people. I'm definately not a doctor and i don't think even doctors can really make 100% correct perdictions all the time. It all depends on the case i guess but i still believe that if there is a situation (like the article) that you know that at least one will die and the other only a 1% chance of survival, i think the money should go to help other less fortunate people who can be saved.
