I am honestly appalled at the things I have just read. It is some of the most ignorant heathen crap I have ever heard. God plans NO role in the lottery… with NO in all caps. Alright I will try and respect everyone’s own personal opinions here but I may go too far.
Almost everyone said God as nothing to do with the lottery. Yet they still say they somewhat believe, He just has nothing to do with the numbers chosen. God is in everyday life, living with each of us. If a person tries to picture God as human, just another guy upstairs with a long beard and robe, then you are fooling yourself. We have been created in God’s IMAGE. He does not just lend a hand here and there where it is needed, He is in each and every one of us each and every day.
1 John 4:4
You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
The lottery is chance I will agree. But who created this all, He has a plan for each and every soul. Whether easily seen to some or virtually invisible to others, His plan will be carried out and He knows whether you will embrace it or not.
Since when does prayer mean answers? God says to pray and then listen, He does not grant you wishes like a genie or wizard, God listen to your prayers and gives you what you really need, whether you agree or not.
Maybe he will get hit by a car and his family will give it to charity? That is one of the worst things I have ever heard. That is just flat out terrible, immoral, and inhuman to wish something like that upon someone else, or “hypothetically” say it may happen. UGH
DAMN IT!!! Why does everyone have to think that me saying God has something to do with the lottery means that He is back stage choosing which balls to pick and knowing who is going to get the money. That is not what I meant at all so I’m sorry if I made it sound that way. No one can even comprehend thinking about the magnificent wonders of God, you cannot think of Him as just some guy playing favorites, well I guess you can think of Him anyway that YOU want to, but in the Bible it states that we are his IMAGE not a mirror replication.
God has everything to do directly with the lottery. If it weren’t for God’s love of this world and each and every one of us, none of us would be here right now. God has everything to do with everything every second of every day. He lives all around us. He doesn’t live up in Heaven but check in every once in a while.
1 John 4:16
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him.
