At 3:00 today a gunamn entered Cole Hall and opened fire on the 150 students in the class, injuring 18. Nobody yet is known to be dead except the gunman...who was also said to not have been a student at NIU. This is scary. He was said to be aiming at certian people and to not have said a word.
Shootings are happening everywhere and this one really it home with me. I know so many people at Northern that as soon as I found out I instantly grabbed my phone to make sure everyone was okay. Also, Northern was one of the colleges I wanted to go to next year and I was suppoused to visit on Monday, I can't believe shootings have been happening so often lately.
...I hope nobody else dies from this one.
