It sucks that the money went to that guy. But it was out of true randomness. It wasn't like the people were like hmmmmm.... let's give all this money to a sex offender. All you have to do is pick some lucky numbers and anyone has a chance to win. True the guy has does wrong in the past but does he still do that stuff? If not maybe he wants to turn around his life. You never know.
